General terms and conditions of sale

Article 1: Introduction

Welcome to the www.keikenjapan.com website (hereinafter, “The Website”).

Keikenjapan is a content hosted on the Internet and operated by the company Sinensis, a limited liability company under Moroccan law, registered in the Marrakech Trade Register under number RC 9353 and whose headquarters are located in Marrakech.


The present general conditions of sale (GCS) apply to the Site and describe the conditions under which the Sinensis company offers access to its website www.keikenjapan.com.
We ask you to read these terms and conditions with particular attention because the confirmation of a purchase via the website, implies the full and unreserved acceptance of all clauses.
You agree to abide by these terms and conditions by clicking on the box entitled “I have read and I accept the general terms and conditions of sale of www.keikenjapan.com” on the order confirmation page.

Article 2: Interpretation of terms

The terms “you” and “customer” refer to the end customer using the website. The terms around the personal pronoun “we” and “us” refer to Sinensis. The term “Website” refers to keikenjapan.com. The abbreviation “GCS” refers to general conditions of sale.

Article 3: Use of the Website

When you register on the Website, you create a password and an account name.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account name and password, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

To this end, you agree to immediately notify Keikenjapan of any fraudulent use of your account or any other breach of its security within a maximum of 5 days.

Article 4: the customer

The informations collected on the site www.keikenjapan.com is subject to processing intended in particular for the order of a product, payment and delivery. The recipients of the data are limited exclusively to persons who are entitled to know your data because of their functions. In accordance with Law No. 09-08 promulgated by Dahir 1-09-15 of February 18, 2009, relating to the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you have a right of access, rectification and opposition to the informations concerning you, which you can exercise by contacting our customer service at the following email address: contact@keikenjapan.com (7 days a week and 24 hours a day).

Article 5: Data security

The personal information transmitted by the customer is protected in accordance with the legislation in force.
In addition, we have implemented appropriate technical security measures to prevent unauthorized or illegal access to your information. The collection of personal data through the website is done on a secure server. We use “firewalls” on our servers and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption
technology. Electronic payment card
information is entered directly on the “Fast payment” payment interface and is in no way stored on our servers.
It is strongly recommended not to send all credit or debit card details in electronic communications.

Article 6: Responsibility of Sinensis and Keikenjapan.com

a. Products:

  • The products governed by these GCS are those listed on the website.
  • The products are described and presented as accurately as possible. However, if errors or omissions occur with regard to this presentation, Sinensis could not be held responsible.
  • The products are offered within the limits of available stocks. However, if your item is displayed as “Out of stock”, contact us, if possible we will provide it for you.
  • The photographs of the products are contractual.
  • Sinensis ensures the quality of these products
  • Sinensis assures to have the necessary certificates for the marketing of its products.

b. Prices and sales:

  • Product prices are displayed on the website in the currency of the country of operation.
  • The prices displayed on the website are prices including VAT.
  • The prices of the products displayed on the website do not inclusde delivery charges.
  • In case of sales, any discounts will be applied to the total value of the goods, including VAT.

c. The order:

  • Prior identification of the customer
    To place an order, the customer must identify himself with his email address and password. For any first order, the customer will have to follow an account creation procedure indicated on the website. In case of loss or forgetfulness of the password, the customer will be able to ask for it again by going to his customer account and clicking on “I forgot my password”, the customer is invited to click on the link received and follow the instructions.
  • Registration and validation of the order
    The customer has the possibility to place his order online from the online store. As soon as the products are added to the cart, the customer validates the order (pre-selected delivery address and payment method), this step formalizes the sales contract between Sinensis and the customer.

d. Method of payment:

  • The customer has the choice to pay his purchases by: Moroccan bank card, or international bank card: Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, CMI.
  • Payment is made via Fast payment / CMI.
  • To pay for your order by bank card, you choose the Fast payment method (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro or CMI) offered by keikenjapan.com. In this case, the remittance of the transaction for debiting your account is made within the day following the date of the delivery confirmation.
  • Your payment by bank card is completely secure.
  • In case of payment by bank card, the provisions concerning the fraudulent use of the means of payment provided for in the agreements concluded between the customer, Sinensis and his/ bank apply.

e. Security: (Article 5)

f. Terms of delivery:

  • Delivery charges will be displayed on the order form and before the final confirmation of the purchase.
  • Delivery charges are about 54.00 DHs (all taxes inclusded) for any purchase less than or equal to 5 kg. Then you have to add 1 DH (taxes excluded) for each additional 1 kg.
  • An extra fee of 15 DHs (taxes excluded) is added for glass and fragile items.
  • Delivery costs are at the customer’s expense.
  • Delivery charges are waived for starting from 500 Dhs orders.
  • Sinensis is committed to deliver to the customer within an estimated time of 2 to 10 days maximum.

g. Right to request a replacement:

  • The customer has the right to request a replacement within seven calendar days from the date of reception of the product, provided that the products are available. During this period, the customer must contact Sinensis via the following email address contact@keikenjapan.com. Then an agent will contact the customer to assess whether the product can be returned or not.
  • The products under request for replacement must be intact, complete, packed in the original packaging, in conformity with the day of their delivery.
  • The customer can return his product by mail, the return costs will be at the customer’s expense.
  • For hygienic reasons, bulk products can in no case be the subject of a request for replacement.

h. Archiving – proof:

Sinensis will archive purchase orders and invoices on a reliable and durable support constituting a faithful copy. The digital registers of Sinensis will be considered by the parties as proof of communications, orders, transactions and payments between the parties.

Article 7: Termination

  • Sinensis can suspend or terminate your account or any element of it if it considers that you have not respected one of these terms and conditions and if you have not complied with the said conditions within 5 days after a formal notice sent by Keikenjapan.
  • You have the possibility to terminate your Keikenjapan account. You must then notify the Site by email to the following address: contact@keikenjapan.com.
  • If you or Sinensis terminate your account, Keikenjapan may remove any content or materials related to your use of the Website.

Article 8: Applicable law 

These general conditions of sale are governed by Moroccan law.

Article 9: Modification

Sinensis reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. These changes will be effective from the moment they are put online on the Site. You will be informed by email of changes to these terms and conditions of sale.
The fact of continuing to use the Site after the modification of the general conditions of sale is considered as an acceptance of these conditions.

Article 10: Settlement of disputes

Any dispute arising from the execution and/or interpretation of this contract will be brought before the Commercial Court of Marrakech.
